About last night
Last night should've been simple. Go to Katipunan, withdraw money, go to Seattle's, pay for the webhosting, go home, have dinner, then finally DotA at Fu Dragon. Instead, our night went like this...
6:30 arrived at Katipunan, we go to the ATM machine at McDo. Randomly malfunctioning.
6:45 - 7:10 we run around Katipunan trying 5 ATM machines, all with no luck.
7:15 we reach Seattle's. Luis has just arrived, but he opts to wait for us until we can find a functioning ATM. We try the McDo ATM again.. hah! Should've known better...
7:18 we see one at Xavierville Avenue a try it out. No luck here either. We decide to borrow.
7:30 we reach home and try to borrow from my mom. As it turns out, she doesn't have any cash on hand so we have to go to... that's right, an ATM machine.
7:40 we go to one on Kamias road, and guess what... it's NOT WORKING! By now I want to punch someone or something, REALLY BAD!
7:50 we have reached Cubao and mom has finally gotten to withdraw. And since it's near Shopwise, mom decides to get some groceries. We'll just have to pick her up in an hour or so.
8:10 Luis texts to ask if we want to cancel and choose another day. I call him and tell him we're on our way back, but if he's really in a hurry we can transact another day. Luckily, he chooses to wait still.
8:16 I find out that the project 4 intersection at Katipunan has been closed. My nostrils flare and steam shoots out of them.
By 8:25 or something we have reached Seattle's again. We hand over the payment, have a short chat with Luis (and Charlie) about a few things then they leave shortly. We finish our drinks and then leave for Shopwise to pick mom up.
While all this was happening, the fuel indicator flashed three times, indicating we were low, lower, and almost empty on fuel... what a night.
Good thing honey had the prescence of mind to keep talking during the whole ordeal and not get scared of me... oh and honey, thanks for the coffee, it really helped. Mmmwah! I love you honey.
But it was a good thing everything ended happily and peacefully, the webpage went up and we got to eat dinner at a not so late time. No bloodshed whatsoever... well, not at least until DotA.
