Hot! So hot!

*******

Been listening to the Gipsy Kings... hehe it's cool but I'm not sure everyone's gonna like it... Anyway, I liked it the first time I heard it.

Goin' out tonight to Halina's. It's her birthday!

It's a good thing work tomorrow starts late. I can afford to get plastered tonight hehe

Great! The new section's up. I haven't really put in much, but just wait.

*******

Here today, gone tomorrow...

I can't find the 1.5 bottle of Vanilla Coke anywhere...

...sigh...

5.15.2003

I tried to create a new section but I guess I'm too dizzy to understand the directions...

Well, maybe when I'm all sober and stuff...

If you knew who and what I was would you still be my friend? I'm not sure I want to know the answer to that...

I smell of cigarette smoke and I'm drunk... hehe...

Not a really good post...

Some of you may have been wondering where I've been and why my blog has been collecting cobwebs... well, all I can offer is that lame-ass excuse that guys give a week after one-night stands (or two, or three...) to the girls: I've been out most of the time, and I've been really busy. Seriously.

Well, not really. But I have been out a lot these past few days and busy as well. Where? Well, in the next parts I will try my best to accurately narrate my life over the past few days I have gone missing... so here I go.

I had just wrapped up a project last thursday (or was it friday?) and was looking forward to some blogging and a good loooong nights' rest. But again I was kidnapped (again) to megamall (again) by, yep, you guessed it. Heng and Eunice. Oh, and add Joseph. Then we met up with Mick. After having dinner at this fastfood joint filled with cult members we bid adeiu to Mick then proceeded to drop off Joseph at his apartment. Eunice we had to take to a hospital as her lower back related condition was acting up again. After having a few tests she was eventually released.

After dropping her off at her house, Heng and I then proceeded to pick up my sister at my grandfather's house in Q.C. This was around midnight already. Next stop was my ex's house where I promised to do her a favor by picking her up and taking her to the bus terminal at 1. Heng dropped us off at home where I had to get the car then off to the terminal. After accomplishing these, I then headed home looking forward to an hour or so with my blog... but as soon as I stepped into the house the phone rang. Apparently my ex's (and her friends') trip had to be moved to a later sched. They wanted to hang out somewhere else than the bus terminal. So okay, I head back and pick them up... we go to Seventy-seven in new manila and have a few beers (ako lang pala..) and some vodka and bring back some of the past (all the pretty and all the ugly) in front of her friend. No, we didn't have a fight. We left around 2:45 as their trip was at 3.

After getting home I decided that I still wanted to blog so off I went and fixed myself some coffee. Now whatever it was that made me put whiskey in my coffee was really whacked up. That was a really wrong move. I could not concentrate as I felt like jumping up and down to the rhythmn of a jackhammer while wanting to lay down on the floor and stay very very still. After calming down a bit, I said to myself: "you need something to push all that down..." so off I go to the refrigerator for my trusty bottle of red wine. BIG MISTAKE! After finishing about approximately two-thirds of the bottle I doze off in front of the PC sitting down, my head hanging like a pinata. I wake up in a daze and finally collapse to the floor leaving my unloved, attention-hungry blog open... fortunately no one was able to see it as the monitor had an auto shut-down mechanism.

I woke up sticky from the heat that seemed to permeate everything. Including the floor.

I felt like roasted chicken.

Around after lunch an emergency meeting is called. I rush out of the house in the sweltering heat and unforgiving sun only to recive a call on the mobile a few minutes later that the everything had been solved and that I wasn't required anymore.

Que pasa!

As I get home my drowsiness gets the best off me so I head for my bed and log in about three more hours of sleep.

When I wake up the mobile is ringing from an unlisted number. As I start to push the answer button the rining stops. Then a text message comes in. It's another ex. She wants to go out as she's very depressed and needs someone to talk to...

After confirming the directions to her condo I pick her up then head for the nearest bar/grill/restaurant/whatever and down a beer. She has a cocktail. It's about her boyfriend and their long distance realationship. Again I am the shock absorber. In the course of our evening, talk goes to nightclubs. She ends up pulling me into a girlie/coyote bar as she's never seen the inside of one. Again it's a couple of beers. After about 45 minutes into our stay all the pulsing lights and throbbing music finally get to us. We both get this mild headache and decide to leave. Heading back to her condo proves to be a mistake (again!?!) She still has a few bottles of strong beer stashed away. I get home at around 5:30, but not after napping for around an hour on her couch (I don't know if I left any drool). So again (!) I have filled my bloodstream with alcohol and accelerated the rate of my regression.

When I get home I collapse into the nearest accesible spot which is the sofa.

*******

So it's mother's day. My mom is out and I'm splattered on the seats in front of the TV wasting my life away.

This goes on for the whole time the sun is up.

*******

At around 6:30 I get a message on the mobile that I'm about to be kidnapped at around 8. We're going to Bulacan to visit an old friend. But this time there's no alcohol...

*******

We finally get to leave around 10 in the evening. So much for 8 o'clock.

At Bulacan we basically just catch up on ourselves. We talk about highschool and all the embarrassing moments and experiences, friends and teachers come and gone. But there's a new twist to our every-now-and-then reunions... we talk about the future. We talk about plans for businesses, careers, but only up to that. No talk about settling down. Not yet.

I spend the night at Heng's and head back out the next morning to complete another project.

At 3:00 in the afternoon we finish and I finally head out to my reward: X-Men 2

*******

I meet Dona and Mona (no, they're not twins) at UP and head on to the Greenhills theatre.

Man!

If you haven't watched it then you should. You'll miss a large part of your life if you don't.

The effects are great and the storyline is so much better than that of the first. Hindi corny. X2 left me wanting more (okay, I am letting out the comics geek in me) and I can't wait to see how things will turn out in X3. I hope it comes out soon... would this year be too much to ask for? I hope not.

Nightcrawler instantly became one of my favorites.

*******

If you've seen the final Matrix: Reloaded trailer then you might probably share my enthusiasm for the movie's opening date. I'm very curious about the story as the first one left me hanging. My reaction to the final scene was that of slight disappointment. "He can fly?! Now it's going to be just some flick about the hero being virtually unstoppable... parang corny na yung next." But after seeing the trailer, I think I'm pretty much excited to see it.

*******

So that pretty much sums up my period of absence... I get occasional memory blocks so if anything pops up I'll just blog it down.

Happy mother's day to all the moms, soon to be, would be, and to your moms too!

*******

I was thinking... why is it that some people need that significant other?
