I came, I saw, I was terrified
Last night I went to this party at Bed in Malate. I know Malate has this rep, but I said to myself "nah, it couldn't be that bad..."
Wrong.
After spending about ten minutes at the bar I absolutely refused to look away from the television.
Ask why.
Ask.
The first ten minutes at the bar I saw men fondling each other, men flirting with each other, men kissing each other... GAAAHHHH!!! The number of females in the place I could count with my fingers. And that's including the female bartender.
And the worst thing was I got hit on.
More than once...
More than twice...
More than three times.
I have nothing against homosexuality and homosexuals but SHIT was I terrified. These guys (gays) were the "I work out regularly, do you work out?" types. And a lot of them were taller than me.
And they hit on me.
One kept saying sorry and then smiling at me, another took the direct approach, and some just stood at the bar and smiled...
And man, you should've seen the men's CR... it consisted roughly of a couch, two long urinals facing each other separated only by this thin aquarium so both sides can see each other, a plant, and a wall lamp.
And they hit on me.
Buti nalang my friend found some of her female friends so I begged to stay there... I just drank the night away to numb myself from all the activity going on around us.
*******
I am never going back to Bed.
