The whole afternoon and early evening, I've been glued to my PC. Already, I feel very sterile. Nope, no chance of SARS here. Though I think the bump on my shoulder is starting to grow an arm.

The problem with exes is that they're exes. It is almost entirely absolutely impossible to be close friends with them. Maybe if everything has been cleared out and both of you have no emotional baggage (memories included) whatsoever can a friendship seem possible. What are the chances of you getting into a relationship and not committing emotionally? Always more than zero. You always give a part of yourself to anything you do or get into. Whether you know it or not.

It's automatic. A relationship always entitles an investment, either given, received, or both.

My ex has this habit (almost annoying) of bringing up the past when we get together. I don't know if she's bitter, wants me back, or just daft. It's not like I'm still affected but it's kind of embarassing to the people we're with. Imagine; "napahiya tuloy ako nun. Ang hilig mo kasi mang-correct e!" or "Naiinis ako sa'yo pag nakikita ko yan, naaalala ko tuloy yung nangyari..(then turning to one of our companions) biruin mo, ang layo ng pinanggalingan ko. Ang init-init ng biyahe tapos ganon lang mangyayari pagdating ko... ewan!" I never meant to embarass anyone, and never would I do that in the company of others.

It's always the past that has something to do with the future. You can have a fight with a friend but very well still be friends after a while. But break-up your relationship with an ex and you'll never receive (or give) the same attention and care that was once there.

Okay, this is probably really late but I just found out how Sadako (Ring 0) looks like in real life. Uhrm. Her name is Yukie Nakama. Okay, the site's a bit sleazy. But someone just forwarded me (defensive!) the link for Sadako. And being naturally curious, I checked it out. Hello! She's human! Or at least she looks like it. And I have to admit that she is pretty.
