I saw Amelie (well, actually it was the second time. The first time I saw it was on the french channel. May subtitles nga but they were in FRENCH) last night. Cute story kahit na dami nyang pinakailaman na buhay. Cute din si Audrey Tautou (crush!). And the visuals and editing and cinematography were really nice too! I particularly liked the part where the photograph on the lamp starts talking, nakakaaliw.

Did I mention that I find Audrey Tautou cute?

Ok, Audrey Tautou is cute.

There, I've mentioned that Audrey Tautou is cute.

I won't have to tell you that Audrey Tautou is cute 'cause I've mentioned that Audrey Tautou is cute.

I also saw Chicago.

Man.

That was some production.

The visuals and cinematography were absolutely stunning! I hadn't seen a film in a long time that made my jaw drop (again). The acting was, well, it wasn't heavy but it was just right for the film. I really liked the puppet section, aside from everything else. And the tap dance too!

I can't wait to see the original production!

Spent the night at Willy and Ate Re's apartment with Heng and Raqui. Heng is my friend from highschool and college, Raqui and ate Re are his sisters, while Willy is ate Re's husband. We watched three films, Chicago, Amelie, and Natural Born Killers. All of these were really good films, although Natural Born Killers isn't for the queasy. Then we chatted over coffee until 5 am. We even heard fireworks from the Easter salubong.

From conspiracies regarding SARS to family matters to comparisons on the methodologies of Napoleon and Sun Tzu... it was absolutely enjoyable. And everyone had something to say, walang nagsasapawan. I love hanging out with these people. You get all sorts of interesting insights on a wide variety of topics. And I loved the coffee.

I got home at around 6 then got to sleep about 30 minutes later. I woke up at 11 to drive to Pampanga with my brother and my dad to attend a grad celebration and a birthday.
I had to pick the worst time to stay up late (ok, REALLY late.) Bleaugh! I felt like nausea (that's right, I did feel like nausea itself) strapped in a rollercoaster. I feared vertigo during some parts of the trip. Then we had to be back in Manila by four. Ang saya.

Right now I am running on auxilliary power so my senses are absolutely screwed. My brain feels shriveled. And my liver probably contains a liter of coffee.

I am a zombie.

Scratch any idea of HTML tonight.

It's cooler tonight. I feel like hitting the beach.

Earlier today I found out what the dance number's song for my Grandparent's anniversary celebration was. James Brown's 'Poppa's Got A Brand New Bag' Cool. I think I'm actually reconsidering my 'busy' alibi. It kinda looks like fun.
